PUNJAB 1839
The Design Punjab, Land of the Five Rivers is inspired by the Golden era of the Sikh Empire which was ruled by the mighty Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh who combined all the different Misl’s of Sikh warriors into one strong kingdom. The map in the design is the Boundary of the Sikh Empire (Punjab) and the Five rivers Ravi, Jhelum, Chenab, Satluj, Beas are shown in the design which flows through the soil of PUNJAB. The year 1839 mentioned in the design is the year when Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh died and After Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s death the Sikh Empire started to fall. This Design represents the Legacy of our Predecessor’s who pour their blood in this soil of PUNJAB to build an Empire that great. In remembrance of the great Sikh Empire, we present this design to the next generation in the hope to remind them of what they have lost.
